His acquaintance and previous manager, according to the material, allegedly defrauded Umesh of Rs 44 lakh.

This scam occurred during the purchase of a land in Nagpur, Maharashtra, under the name of Umesh Yadav. On Saturday, the police were notified of the situation.

According to a police officer, a case of cheating has been filed against Shailesh Thackeray on the complaint of Nagpur resident Umesh Yadav.

Thackeray (37) is a Koradi inhabitant and Umesh Yadav’s buddy. There has yet to be an arrest.

Citing the official’s FIR, he stated that when Umesh Yadav was named to the Indian squad, he nominated his buddy Thackeray as his manager on July 15, 2014, because he was unemployed at the time.

According to the source, Thackeray eventually became Umesh Yadav’s confidant and began overseeing all of Umesh Yadav’s financial issues. He investigated the cricketer’s bank accounts, income taxes, and other financial issues.

He went on to say that Umesh intended to acquire land in Nagpur and had informed Thackeray about it.

Thackeray found a piece in a desolate location and informed Umesh Yadav that he would buy it for Rs 44 lakh, which he placed in Thackeray’s account. However, Thackeray purchased this site under his name.

When Umesh Yadav discovered the deception, he begged Thackeray to transfer the plot into his name, but he refused. Thackeray also refused to reimburse Umesh Yadav for this sum.
