The time is really good for Indian cricket lovers as a lot of cricketing action is taking place at the moment and it will continue in the same manner in future as well. Fans got a heavy dose of cricket recently as the IPL 2023 just got concluded and now India will face Australia in the WTC final from today (7 June 2023) at The Oval, London, and after that India will travel to West Indies for some more cricketing action.

If this is not enough, then the Asia Cup 2023 and the ODI World Cup 2023 are also scheduled to take place this year but there is one news regarding the World Cup as per which the apex body ICC may change the venue of the World Cup.

Don’t panic, we are not talking about the ODI World Cup which is scheduled to be played in India later this year but we are talking about the 2024 T20 World Cup which is slated to be held in West Indies and USA.

Only 12 months are remaining in the tournament and the infrastructure in the USA is not suitable for international matches because of which the ICC may ask England to swap the tournament with USA and WI. England, Ireland and Scotland were scheduled to host the 2030 T20 World Cup but now most probably they will swap the tournament with USA and West Indies and this will also give time to USA to prepare infrastructure for conducting international matches.

This is what a source said, “We have a situation in hand. The infrastructure in the USA is not upto the mark. We believe England can host the event in 2024, they have the facilities to organize matches. The move will allow USA to get the stadiums ready by 2030.”

Let us now enjoy the cricketing action between India and Australia in the WTC final.
