The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand is being played in Hyderabad today on January 18. Team India would like to start the series with a win in this match. The New Zealand team has recently reached here after defeating the Pakistan team by 2-1. In this match, the Indian team won the toss and decided to bat first.

India scored 349/8 thanks to Shubman Gill’s stunning double century. Gill hit 208 off 149 balls, due to which he became the only player on both teams to reach the half-century mark. In response, New Zealand struggled, losing five wickets in the opening 25 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav has taken two wickets, although Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, and Shardul Thakur have also hit.

Team India was well on its way towards the big win, after the sixth wicket of New Zealand’s innings also fell. Mohammed Siraj sent back New Zealand captain Tom Latham on a personal score of 24 runs.
