The Indian cricket team ended the day 1 of the second test match with 336/6 at the scoreboard with Yashasvi Jaiswal (179 runs not out) and Ravichandran Ashwin (5 runs not out) at the crease.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, the 21 years old youngster, is in great form as he played a good knock in the first test match as well and his fans are praying that he gets a 200 in this match. The cricket fraternity was full of praise for Yashasvi Jaiswal after he played a superb knock of 179 for which he played 257 balls and his innings included 17 fours and 5 sixes.
The legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also praised the young cricketer as he took to X and posted an image of Yashasvi with the caption, “।।यशस्वी भव:।।” which is a blessing given to youngsters by their elders.
As far as the match is concerned, India got off to a bad start as Rohit Sharma once again failed with the bat and India kept on losing wickets at regular intervals but Yashasvi stood firmly on one end and played a spectacular innings.
Hopefully, the youngster will cross the 200-run mark.
